Ingredients
1 kg dal Chana (soaked For 2 hours)
750-gram sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup oil or ghee
Almond for garnishing
Pistachio for garnishing
Silver paper for garnishing
Coconut powder for garnishing

Wash the dal and soak it for 2 hours.
and soak it for 2 hours.
In a deep pot add dal and water and cook till dal is soft.
Set aside and let it be cool.
In a food processor add the dal and blend it well.
In a deep pot add oil or ghee.
Then add cardamom powder and fry it for 1 minute.
Add the blended dal.
Mix continuously until the color turns light brown.
Add sugar and stir continuously.
Approximately 1 1/2 -2 hours.
At last, the halwa will leave the bottom and sides.
Grease the dish.
Transfer the halwa in it.
Spread it evenly.
Garnish it with almonds, pistachio, coconut powder, and silver paper.
Keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Cut it in square pieces and serve it.
You can keep Chana Dal Halwa for a week in the fridge.
