Til Laddu / Til Gur Ladoo / Sesame seeds laddu / Nuvvula Laddu / Nuvvula unda
Ingredients:
- Til (Sesame Seeds) - 1 Cup
- Jaggery (Gur) - 1/2 Cup
- Cardamom Powder - a pinch - Optional
Preparation :
1) Dry roast Sesame Seeds in a heavy bottomed kadai or a pan till the rawness diappears.
Roast on low flame till the color of Sesame seeds changes to red.
Do not over roast it. Remove it in a plate and allow it to cool.
2) Grind roasted sesame seeds in a mixer grinder in a coarse powder.
Now remove 3/4 of the Sesame Seeds Powder in a plate.
Add grated jaggery to the 1/4 of the powder and blend till combined.
3) Take the whole mixture from a jar into a plate of sesame seeds powder & add a pinch of cardamom powder and mix it well.
4) Make small laddus with this mixture.
5) Store in an air tight container.
Tip:
It can be stored for a week or 10 days.
