Celebrating 1 year!

Today marks the first anniversary of my blog! On June 23rd 2017, I wrote my first post introducing myself and my passions.

It’s been one year of building a blog by documenting my Foodie Journey. Sharing what I eat and all the crazy flavours I creatively combine together and then came along the hosting of my supper clubs – The Supper Club With Suni. This couldn’t have happened without my family and friends, my number one supporters throughout my food journey thus far, giving me advice, inspiration and critique. I have met many people and made so many friends along the way and this is the best part, being able to put a smile on someone’s face through food.

My family have been open to trying new foods and places whenever I’m exploring & experimenting whether at home with new dishes or abroad looking for that perfect foodie find to hit the spot and write about. I’m lucky to have a great open minded people around me.

As I embarked on this journey I’d promised myself that as I build my blog I wouldn’t compare myself with fellow bloggers, cooks, foodies and just write & cook from the heart, whichever way it seemed like the right way to go. There are so many great bloggers that I aspire to, posting fabulous photos & videos. I’m learning to grow gradually one step at a time… it’s still all very new to me but very exciting.

There’s so much I want to share with you all on this first anniversary but I will keep it short.

If you are wondering what a food blogger exactly does everyday, well let me tell you! When I first started, I had no idea how much work was involved to have a successful food blog. I simply wanted to share my food pics and a few recipes and tell people about my foodie finds, and my job would be complete. My days are full of fun, laughter, tears, stress, inspiration but most of all passion about seeing , tasting and experiencing life and food. This is definitely a journey I want to see through, so much more for me to share with you all.

Take a look at some of my favourite moments from this past year:

I hope that you will all continue to keep an eye out on my social feeds and blog for food inspiration in 2018.
