Mamoré Vinhas Velhas: The gold medal in the Challenge du Vin

Sovibor is a renowned company from the Alentejo Region, now led by Fernando Tavares. Based on values such as tradition and modernity, the company is focused on repositioning its wines at higher levels of price and quality.  Mamoré de Borba Reserva Vinhas Velhas 2017 red wine is composed of the Castelão, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah varieties from Old Vines and results from a 14-month aging period in new French oak barrels. It presents an intense and defined aroma, mentholated and with notes of eucalyptus and dark chocolate. In the mouth, it is fresh and lively, with vigorous tannins in a long and intense finish. It goes well with roasted meats or game, and should be consumed at a temperature of 16ºC. This wine won the gold medal in the Challenge du Vin, entering the list of national wines with international awards. Available in our online store.
