Caves São João were founded in 1920 by brothers José, Manuel and Albano Costa. Frei João, Quinta do Poço do Lobo, Porta dos Cavaleiros, Terroir de Cantanhede and Caves São João are the brands produced by the Caves between the regions of Bairrada and Dão. To celebrate 99 years of existence, a rosé wine produced exclusively from the Pinot Noir grape variety was launched. This wine is very elegant and complex, with a very tenuous fruity sensation, notes of dry vegetable and minerals. The oak notes where it fully fermented and matured are very faint. In the mouth it is completely dry, rich, very long, fresh and persistent. Perfect to accompany fish and lean meats. Available to order!
