"Ira is born out of a long, prior irritation that has altered the spirit and built up the necessary force for an explosion. Vinhas da Ira (Grapes of Wrath) is the result of this feeling and of the excellent conditions on the estate, which has a singular parcel of old vines – among the oldest recorded in the Alentejo region." It presents very intense, opaque colour, strong and complex aroma recalling very ripe berries, balanced acidity, very full on the palate, full-bodied and long. This wine is produced by Herdade da Mingorra located in the lower Alentejo. Henrique Uva is the founder of this project and Pedro Hipólito is the winemaker responsible for the wines which are becoming increasingly recognised and appreciated throughout the world.
