António Maçanita (oenologist) and David Booth ( winegrower) are responsible for the Alentejo's Fita Preta wines. Later, in 2015 Sandra Sárria joined the project.
Fita Preta wines are produced at the Herdade do Palácio do Morgado da Oliveira, which was built at the end of the 13th century.
More than Alentejo wines that express their terroir and region, Fita Preta wines are a reflection of the team that produces them.
Oenologists and winemakers are equally important partners in wine production. High quality wine that is only possible as a result of the human capacity to interact with nature in the three phases of: creation, transformation and conservation of the grape that begins in the vineyard and ends when a bottle of wine is opened.
