Quinta do Monte Xisto is a family project that brings together oenologist João Nicolau de Almeida and his two sons, also oenologists, Mateus and João.
Quinta do Monte Xisto red wine is produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Souzão. It is vinified in granite lagares with foot treading. It is then aged for 18 months in 600 litre barrels.
With a luminous and brilliant appearance, its nose foreshadows frankness projecting us to the universe of the Quinta. The more we get involved we are surprised by new fruity and wild aromas, supported by an elegant and balanced structure. Full of personality, it ends in an expressive and reflective way.
