With an infusion of goodness from various cultures, Singaporean Cuisine has something unique yet familiar about it and sits perfectly well among varying palates.

The Wonton Mee consists of soft succulent dumplings that resemble wispy clouds when immersed in soup. Served with dry noodles, well-balanced sauces and juicy pork or shrimp dumplings, the dish as a whole is a treat to the taste-buds.

The carrot used in the Singaporean version is the white radish and this is combined with rice flour is steamed into large slabs or cakes. There is nothing sweet about the Singaporean carrot cake for this savoury delight is served with preserved turnip, soy sauce, fish sauce, eggs, garlic and spring onions.

The mere mention of this name would make any mouth water for that is how good this Singaporean delight is. If you are in this country drop into one of the Beach Road restaurants in Singapore such as the one in Destination Singapore Beach Road and order this all-time favourite dish of those visiting.
