However, no matter how well they perform, some singers or bands aren't getting enough place in the spotlight. Despite that, some people still recognize and appreciate their musical talent.

1. Warren Zevon

Warren Zevon is an American rock singer, musician, and songwriter. He is best known for his biggest hits during his time, such as “Werewolves of London,” “Lawyers, Guns, and Money,” and “Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner.” One person said,

“Warren Zevon belongs in the hall of fame.”

A second person replied with emphasis on Zevon’s 1991 album, “Certainly, Mr Bad Example is an underrated album.”

A third commenter added, “I agree with you [tbh].”

2. Echo & the Bunnymen

Echo & the Bunnymen is an English band formed in 1978 in Liverpool. The band started out with three members, but the singer, McCulloch, left to start his own solo career. The new member, Freitas, who joined as a drummer, died in a motorcycle accident the following year, and the band reformed with a new lineup.

One person said, “Their version of [People Are Strange] is my favorite.”

3. Kyuss

The American Rock Band Kyuss was active from 1987 to 1995. They were considered one of the coolest bands during their peak of operation in the late 90s, with their scorching riffs and sluggish, serpentine grooves that captured the hearts of their audience.

One person said, “Discovered them a few months ago myself – amazing road trip music.”

A second commenter replied, “Yes! So good, and so rarely mentioned.”

4. Cosmo Sheldrake

Cosmo Sheldrake has one of the most distinct musical styles, incorporating his multi-instrumental genius into music that is captivating, haunting, a little creepy, jolly, and has melodies that you can't get out of your head.

One person said, “I've never heard anything similar to his style of music yet.”

Another user replied, “Really good and unique I love it.”

5. Faith No More

“People know this band for their song Epic, but they had so many other great songs and covers. In recent years their cover of Easy Like Sunday Morning has been getting a lot of play in commercials as well,” one person stated.

Formed in 1979 in California, Faith No More is an American rock band known for their song “Epic,” which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990.

6. Josh Pyke

“Josh Pyke – awesome lyricist and his song craft is brilliant. The track ‘Silver’ is a great example,” one person said.

Josh Pyke is an Australian singer-songwriter renowned for his six indie/folk albums that have won awards, including a best-of album that was released in 2017. Despite that, the singer still needs a bit of a deserved recognition for his musical talent.

7. Devin Townsend

Devin Townsend is known for his powerful vocal ranges, which are over five octaves and three notes (from C2 to F#7), with the observation that he mostly masters the second and fifth octaves for clean but also rowdy vocals and the fifth to seventh octaves for totally screaming vocals. One Reddit user said,

“Devin Townsend deserves to be a millionaire.”

Another commenter replied, “Came here to mention Devin. I get a kick out of watching reaction videos of people watching his Kingdom EMGtv video.”

“They are a good-time rock and roll band from Northern Ireland with bluesy/gospel influences and their singer Cormac Neeson has some pipes!” one person shared proudly.

“Their first 2 albums were absolute belters. Demon Eyes and Pride are classics,” the second one replied.

9. Together Pangaea

Together Pangaea is an American rock band from Santa Clarita, California formed in 2008 and known for their unique combo of musical styles that will put their audience in a good mood.

One person said, “Singer has an incredible voice and they’re a cool mix of punk and classic rock. Should be bigger imo.”

Another Redditor replied, “Yes I agree.”

10. Meg Myers

Janice Sue Meghan Myers, aka by her stage name, Meg Myers, is an American singer and songwriter known for her massive hits, such as “Running Up That Hill,” “Desire,” “Lemon Eyes,” and “Numb.”

One person stated, “She’s not extremely underrated but still she deserves a ton more listeners because her music is good. Heart heart head is incredible.”

Another user replied, “Thanks to you now I know her and yes it's great.”

11. TWRP

Formed in 2007, the Canadian rock group TWRP, formerly known as Tupper Ware Remix Party, hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia. The band is known for playing live shows in full costumes to hide how they look and who they are.

One person stated, “They used to be the backing band for Ninja Sex Party. A bunch of white boys playing some of the smoothest electronic funk you've ever heard. Killer licks, literal keytar and SLAPP that would make Davie504 proud. Plus the lead singer can kick real high and use nunchucks. No seriously. Dude is whipping nunchucks around all the time and he's good at it. And they have some of the most unabashedly optimistic tracks I have ever heard. Every one of their albums has a Sagan-esque exaltation of the wonder and providence of our existence in the cosmos.”
