He tossed four touchdown passes and threw for 413 yards in the New Year’s Day game to win the Rose Bowl Offensive MVP award in his final game. Sanchez’s 413 throwing yards were fourth-best in USC history and second-best in the Rose Bowl. He had 34 touchdown passes, which ranked second in school history, 3,207 passing yards, and 10 interceptions by season’s end. He was chosen for the First Team All-Pac-10 in 2008.
