Like cancer, Thalassemia is one of those diseases that takes away a lot from you. A thalassemia patient fights for his/her life everyday. I attended a drama workshop especially for Thalassemia Patients in Kolkata where people between ages 5-15 came.
The experience of seeing these little children enjoy themselves forgetting their illness was a life changing moment.
It makes you value life!
