10 Frightfully Cheap Halloween Events in the UK

Halloween is edging closer and closer and as the nights get darker, we thought that we’d share the 10 most frightfully cheap Halloween events and attractions taking place throughout the UK designed to ensure you have a terrifyingly good night out.

1. London

On Saturday the 28th of October, head to Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen for Beetlejuice Inferno Disco. A strict over 18 event, dress up in pinstripe suits, 80s wedding dresses and backcomb your hair to celebrate the Tim Burton masterpiece, Beetlejuice. At 6pm and 8pm, a screening of the cult film will start with food from Orange Buffalo and Beetlejuice inspired sour cocktails and spooky popcorn. Then experience the seedy backstreets of the film as the main club room is transformed into the raunchy set of Dante’s Inferno Rooms.

Tickets are £5 if booked in advance and £8 on the door.

2. Birmingham

The Haunted House Halloween party in Praza Restaurant and Bar in Birmingham on Saturday the 28th of October 2017 is set to transform the Grade II listed Georgian building in the affluent leafy suburbs of Edgbaston into a thing of nightmares. With a minimum age of 18, guests can book early bird tickets from as little as £6 per person and prepare themselves for bloodied beasts, ghastly ghouls and creatures from the shadows. From 10:30pm ‘till 4am, lose yourself in their Haunted House.

3.  Glasgow

If you’re over 18 and brave enough to take a walk through Glasgow’s tainted past you should book a terrifying ghost walk through the city. From tales of public executions, plagues that wiped out whole communities and witchcraft, get ready to explore Glasgow’s dark and sinister history on a creepy tour around the city. Starting at George Square at 10pm, on Tuesday the 31st of October, tickets start from only £10 per person.

4. Edinburgh

Get your scream-on in Edinburgh this Halloween with Massaoke’s Club La La Dissection Room. On Friday the 27th of October, get ready to scream your way through the ultimate Halloween party and dance ‘till the early hours next to a zombie or two. There will even be a prize for the best dressed so dig out your vampire fangs and fake blood and get creative. With huge sing a long anthems your voice will be gone by sunrise. 5. Liverpool

The Voodoo Ball returns this year to the streets of Liverpool, as creatures terrorise their way through the city, with a 70-strong drum troupe. Starting at 8pm on Saturday the 28th of October, the parade is completely free to the public and anyone can take part in the fun. After the parade shakes up the city, the Voodoo Ball will commence. With tickets fromll- Acts of Vengeance will take place in the Invisible Wind Factory at 25 Carlton Street in Liverpool. Featuring live martial arts performance, live drumming and music. 6. Bristol

Tiki Club Lola Lo, one of Bristol’s most popular clubs, are going all out this Halloween with four nights of frightful fun. On Friday the 27th of October the club will be themed as Freak of the Week, on Saturday the 28th, an American Horror Story theme will ransack the club and on Monday the 30th of October, Lola Lo will be transformed into Coco Beach Haunted House. On Halloween night, Clique Tiki Terror will take place with fake blood, glow-sticks, and Halloween sweets for only £4 per person before 10:30pm. Prepare to drink amongst heathens in this disturbing cocktail bar this October.

7. Cardiff

Expect the unexpected in Cardiff this Halloween as you experience PRYZM on Saturday the 28th of October. Join the epic club which consists of 10 bars and 7 individual rooms for a Vegas-style dancefloor, special effects and dance music. Starting at 10pm, party ‘till the early hours side by side with ghosts, ghouls and monsters at this incredible nightclub for our £5 per person if you buy tickets online. 8. Nottingham

Join Nottingham ghost Mr Bone this October who haunts Lace Market reciting tales of guts and gore beyond belief. Stand in the very street where a horrific murder took place and listen closely as each and every disgusting detail is slowly revealed. At 7pm on Saturday the 28th of October, celebrate Halloween, quenching your thirst for horror and book a ghost tour from as little as £7 per person. The tour will be approximately one mile and cover a number of tales from the past.

9. Coventry

Following on from the success for Bewitching Broadgate last year, a Halloween Fiesta is set to descend onto Coventry this October bringing breath-taking performances, terrifying costumes and live music in the name of Halloween. From noon ‘till 7pm, the event will take place on Saturday the 28th of October with parades and creepy performances to entertain the crowds. Starting at West Orchards Shopping Centre, get ready for a chilling street celebration in Coventry.

10. Hitchin

In Hitchin (or nearby Luton), prepare yourself for the Twisted Carnival, the ultimate Halloween party hosted by Osinkey’s, a new pool hall, bar and restaurant. With a free drink on arrival, a candy bar to satisfy your sweet tooth and twisted circus performers if you’re scared of clowns- beware. On Friday the 27th of October the club will be transformed and offer a Halloween crypt with gothic burlesque dancers, fancy dress, DJ and a selfie station so you can capture your terrifying night out. Tickets are £7 per person which when you factor in the free drink, are very reasonable.
