The Iraqi Trade Bank and JPMorgan Bank met on Sunday, 6/11/2023, to discuss improving banking operations. Aqeel Al-Shuwaili, the bank's media expert, shared that Bilal Sabah Al-Hamdani – the President of the Iraqi Trade Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors – had a meeting with Daniel Zelikko and his team from JP Morgan.
The two Financial institutions talked about their long collaboration and explored ways to upgrade banking processes which are done using the Iraqi Trade Bank through JP Morgan. The Trade Bank also plans to provide assistance in foreign trade financings as well as services to industrial projects and government bodies. This is all part of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani’s mission to help the economy and ensure citizens receive optimal banking services based on global standards.
