The University College of London is the second most largest university in the United Kingdom by the number of students been admitted into the University. The Research Excellence Scholarship UCL is dedicated to offer a fully funded scholarship to all interested students from around the world, they will be offering fully funded scholarship to 40 eligible applicants.

The UCL-RES Scholarship Program are willing to support eligible students with their fees in full both for home and international students.

All intending candidates that have successfully been selected will be reviewed by the department they have applied to study using their scholarship. All students whom have applied to this scholarship program will be considered.

The final decisions for the fate of each candidates will be made by the University’s selection panel, which includes the Pro-Vice-Provost, Academic Staff members from across UCL.

These are the Benefits Offered by the University

• The UCL-RES will be sponsoring all selected candidates with a fully funded school fees
• Candidates will be paid maintenance stipends
• Candidates will be given about £19,668 towards their Full Time Study in the University
• There is also an additional research costs of about £1,200 that will be offered to candidates during the study duration

Each aspiring candidates is expected the following steps

Step 1 – Candidates Application to UCL

All candidates must ensure they submit their complete application on or before the specified deadline of the application, else the candidates will no longer be considered

NOTE: This instructions only applies to new students, all students whom are currently or already admitted on their research degrees in the University should proceed directly to step 2.

Step 2 – Candidates should submit all the necessary scholarship application documents to their department

All candidates both currently admitted and prospective students must contact their department, institute, division or unit to inform them that they will like to be considered for the UCL-RES and then they can go ahead to submit their documents to them.
