Axis Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Cleartrip, a subsidiary of Flipkart, to introduce a unique offering aimed at delivering travel advantages to both existing and new Axis Bank credit cardholders.

This collaboration introduces an array of privileges tailored for domestic flight bookings. These perks include discounts of up to Rs 1,200 on seat reservations, complimentary meals valued at up to Rs 500, exemption from convenience fees, and the flexibility to cancel or reschedule flights for a nominal fee of just Rs 1 under the CT FlexMax program.

Of significance, Axis Bank credit cardholders can access these specially crafted travel benefits without the necessity to accumulate or redeem points.

This partnership represents a notable departure from the conventional practice of providing booking discounts solely for domestic flights.

Differing from the prevailing model where online travel agencies (OTAs) extend immediate cash discounts through bank collaborations, these discounts are frequently offset by additional charges for seats, meals, and convenience fees.
