Members of Parliament in the United Kingdom voted in favor of formally recognizing cryptocurrencies as a form of legal tender. The legislation contains provisions to legalize the use of stablecoins. Because they are tied to a stable value, such as a Fiat currency or a commodity like Gold, these coins are less subject to wild price swings.
