Nifty50 crosses the 20,000 mark; Here are a few stocks that contributed the rally

After the trading session on Tuesday, Nifty50 closed at Rs. 19,993.20 levels. It gained 0.5% to reach its all time high of Rs. 20110.35 levels. In the last five days, Nifty has recorded an increase in its growth by more than 2%. Nifty50 contains a total of 50 equity stocks from 50 respective companies. Some of the companies which have performed well in the market in the last five days are listed below:

HDFC Bank

The share price of HDFC Bank closed at Rs. 1636 levels. It gained 0.4% to reach its intra- day high of Rs. 1642.90. In the last five days, the stock has grown almost 4%.

HDFC Bank Limited was incorporated in 1994 in Mumbai, India. The Indian bank provides all kinds of financial and loan services. It acts as a scheduled commercial bank with a vast nationwide network. HDFC bank has a weightage of 13.77% in Nifty 50.

TCS

The share price of TCS closed at Rs. 3572.60 per share. It gained 0.5% to reach its intra- day high of Rs. 3589.90 per piece. In the last five days, the stock has grown more than 4%.

Tata Consultancy Services is one of the leading companies in the Tata Group conglomerate. The company was established in 1968 and offers their services in IT, consulting and business solutions. TCS has a weightage of 4.04% in Nifty 50.

Coal India

The share price of Coal India closed at Rs. 270.35 per piece. It gained 3.5% to reach its intra- day high of Rs. 280.05 per share. In the last five days, the stock has grown almost 6%.

Coal India is an Indian based mining company. The company operates its more than 50 mining areas which are spread nationwide through its subsidiaries. The company was founded in 1975. Coal India has a weightage of 0.62% in Nifty 50.

Axis Bank

The share price of Axis Bank closed at Rs. 1000.30 per piece. It gained 0.01% to reach its 52-week high of Rs. 1010 levels. In the last five days, the stock has grown more than 3.5%.

Axis Bank is the third largest private bank headquartered in India. The bank offers its services in customer segments which includes Large and Mid-Corporates, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Agriculture and Retail Businesses. Axis Bank has a weightage of 3.13% in Nifty 50.

Larsen & Toubro

The share price of Larsen & Toubro closed at Rs. 2951.60 per piece. It gained 2% to reach its 52-week high of Rs. 3009 levels. In the last five days, the stock has grown almost 5%.

Larsen & Toubro is a multinational company which was started in 1946 in Mumbai, India. The company provides services in the field of engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology, information technology, and others. L&T has a weightage of 3.84%.

Other stocks which contributed to Nifty 50’s rally include ICICI Bank which gained almost 3%, Maruti Suzuki gained 3%, Bajaj auto gained 3%, LTIMindtree gained 1.7%, HCL Tech gained 3.5% in the last five days.
