Prior to joining Centri, Jon was the Director of Finance for over 4 years at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School, an elite-level private institution located in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. There, he oversaw all aspects of finance, Accounting, staffing strategy, and payroll. Jon led the finance and accounting team in making substantial improvements to the business, including a customized NetSuite ERP implementation, optimized cash cycle process, reduction in uncollectable receivables, and improved customer contract turnaround time. Additionally, he designed and implemented sound internal controls for procedures around student enrollment, the general ledger, month and year-end close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, and treasury. He also developed effective tools for forecasting, budgeting, and cash management which significantly enhanced forward visibility for both short-term benefits and long-term strategic planning.

Prior to his time at Léman, Jon was an Audit Supervisor at CBIZ MHM and Marks Paneth LLP, where he managed audit engagements for both private and public clients in various industries, including apparel, manufacturing, airline services, investment funds, hospitality, media, entertainment, and advertising. Additionally, he was an active member of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan teams and managed 401(k) and ESOP plan audits throughout his time there.

Jon received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fordham University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
