The Nifty was up 121.50 points or 0.62% at 19,811.30 at closure. Sensex was up 393.69 points or 0.60 percent at 66,473.05 at the time.
With increases of 0.5 to 1% in following industries: auto, FMCG, metal, pharma, power, oil & gas. Real estate, all sectoral indices—aside from PSU Bank—closed in the green.
The Nifty’s top gainers Hero MotoCorp, Wipro, Grasim Industries, Ultra Tech Cement, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories. Its biggest losers were HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, SBI, Coal India, and TCS.

The equities market continued its winning streak for 2nd straight day. Thanks to a strong global economy and buying seen in market’s heavyweights. At closing, Sensex was up 393.69 points or 0.60% at 66,473.05. Nifty was up 121.50 points or 0.62 percent at 19,811.30.
