At 12:01 p.m., the wide NSE Nifty was up 36.96 points or 0.19 percent to 19,779.30, while the 30-pack BSE Sensex was trading 122.90 points, or 0.19 percent, higher at 66,369.29.
On the BSE, a total of 1,672 equities rose, 1,709 fell, and 205 counters were unchanged.
