Manish’s real journey began when he failed in the 10th standard. His mother scolded him and advised him by saying (Deegryaanchi line lavunn taakk) in Marathi, meaning ‘You must earn Degrees/Diploma’s in a queue. He was deeply touched by the words of his mother. Self-realization thereafter took him from ‘where he was to where he is’.

Today he has Three Master, Two Bachelors’ and Ten Diploma’s respectively. Most importantly, it is vital to note that all his education, e-learning, and enhancement in his career have been self-funded. Because he used to work while studying, seeking, and serving.

When he was studying Cyber Laws in Collage days, he met the then President of India, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr Kalam asked many questions of the students, but most of the correct answers were given by Manish. People’s President was so impressed that he said to Manish that one day you’d become the ‘Certificate Man of India,’ provided he kept learning.

Manish was touched by the words of Dr Kalam. Thereafter learning never stopped for him, and his compilation of certificates began. ‘The journey of earning certificates will only end with his last breath on this planet, as he always says.

Manish has been conferred with – the “Swami Vivekananda Indian Icon Award,” New Delhi.

He travelled to many countries, studied different cultures and explored various opportunities. Listening to classical music is what he really enjoys. He is proudly part of many premia Think Tanks around the globe.

Success is Always Beyond Failure

Born with a silver spoon to an industrialist father and affectionate mother, Manish belongs to the royal clan of Marathas of Maharashtra. Being the youngest in the family taught him tolerance and patience. Until the seventh standard, he used to be a topper. However, due to student-teacher politics, he suffered a lot until matriculation. But he had a strong conviction to rise beyond any surrounding circumstances.

Failing in standard tenth was, on the one hand, a big bang because all the family members were highly educated and had high ethical values. On the other hand, it proved to be a blessing. Due to failure, he had the first insight into self-realization.

Secondly, he started earning, leaving his comfort zone of riches. Third, he had the purpose of proving himself against tyranny. Fourthly, once again, he started taking his studies seriously by attending lectures in the morning, working the whole day and studying at night. Lots of adversaries were conquered by him during this period of his life

A Self-Made Stalwart

After his failure in matriculation, Manish started working in a hotel and worked hard for two years, understanding the business and earning money for his education simultaneously, studying commerce. A couple of years later, he started his own hotel ‘Matoshree.’ This sprout has eventually grown into a big tree of seven chains of hotels.

When Manish enrolled into the Five Year Law course, he had to juggle between his career and education. However, he did manage to become successful in both. According to the Advocates Act, in India, the Lawyer cannot run any other business in their name. Therefore, after getting his “Bar Council Sanad,” he handed over the hotel business to his elder brother.

Afterwards, Manish started practising Law in the District Court of Pune and Bombay High Court, respectively. After six months of practice, he got a scholarship and a chance to study for his Master of Law in the United Kingdom.

Spreading Wings Internationally

The United Kingdom gave him International exposure, which proved to be a boon in enhancing his career and understanding of international law. He became the students’ representative in his University. Solving the problems of fellow students made him aware of his problem-solving skills and also trained him to be a social activist. Already, he was learning human rights at his core. Therefore, he was very well aware of the fact that there are many things in this world which needs to be solved by initiating human development by ensuring the security and safety of human beings by using the yardstick of human rights promotion and protection.

Therefore, immediately after completing his Master of Law in Human Rights from England, he formed an NGO, United For Human Rights. Specially to promote and protect the rights of the needy and downtrodden. He says that he has been partially successful in protecting human rights, but a lot of things are yet to be done in the field of human rights.

Attorney of the Law Magnets

He is successfully running a law firm, Law Magnets. Moreover, he is heading multiple ‘C’ level posts in corporates and startups.

But, it is vital to note that Manish contributes more than 1/3rd of his time to social activities such as human rights awareness, workshops and webinars on sustainable development goals, climate activism and environment protection etc. He is of the firm view that the purpose of human life is to serve humanity along with taking appropriate care of other beings and nature, respectively. Jokingly, he said in one of his seminars that “As our Globe or Planet is round in shape, therefore God made me All-rounder, in order to make all-round development of this planet, Mother Earth,” which fortunately seems to be true.

Currently, Manish practices law in Supreme Court and also has been appointed as an Arbitrator on various National and International Arbitration centres/Courts/Tribunals. He is appointed as a legal advisor to many Fortune 500 companies. It is his personal advice to the younger generations that “Successful Character builds a Successful Career.”
