Sarji is in the IT industry from 1996 onwards and Kochi was not known for its Technological competence during that time. From 1996 onwards he had nurtured many junior engineers and was successful in setting up an R&D center for product development and engineering in Kochi. As part of previous engagements, Sarji successfully set up the R&D infrastructure in Kochi even before so-called IT parks were in place.
