Xiaomi is introducing gold loans, credit line cards, and insurance products as it seeks to deliver the complete range of Financial Services in India, according to Manu Jain, the company’s India chief.

According to Jain, these financial services would be provided in collaboration with Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd, Stashfin, Money View, Early Salary, and Credit Vidya.

He added that Mi Credit, a curated marketplace for personal loans of up to Rs 1 lakh, had a lot of excitement in 2019, with over one lakh loans already granted. However, as the covid-19 spread, its lending partners stepped back.
