Please brief our readers about your organisation, its mission and vision.

Our organization Decipher Zone Software (a java development company) has been working as a technology development partner for multiple startups. We also offer different contract models to technology companies through which they can hire developers from us for their team. The mission and vision of our organization are to guide these new-age startups and to entail them on the path of profitability. Such a strategy has also been growing our business because we are getting recurring work and referrals from those happy customers.

What are the prominent services, products, or solutions that make your company stand out from the competition?

We help startups in building their products with the latest technology stack by following global standards. In terms of services, they are like other application development service providers, but our organization follows design thinking, lean startup, and agile principles to govern the product management for a startup. Our strategy has always been to deliver the desired results with minimum expenses, to spend money strategically only when it is required for the development and marketing of the product.

Brief us about the various technologies used in your organisation and how the company is tapping the potential of new technologies to sustain competency.

We have been working on SOA (service-oriented architecture) and microservices architecture for a while to build tech products. The company is committed to building high resilience and fault-tolerant systems according to the use case of a product so that the balance between performance and budget to run cloud infra can be maintained. As a business leader, what is your opinion on the impact of the current pandemic on the overall business ecosystem in India and how has your company adapted to this unprecedented time?

The business ecosystem other than the IT industry has been affected a lot in India. The IT industry has not been affected heavily because we have switched our operations to the cloud a long ago for facilitating distributed teams. These unprecedented times have just broken down those teams on a granular level as individuals. Initially, our team members were spending a lot of time over calls for project discussions because they were accustomed to do so but this reduced our productivity. To resolve this issue, we adopted the practices of daily standup meetings in Scrum to individual conversation levels which reduced the time spent on calls and eliminated the clutter.

Brief us about the work culture in your organization. How do you ensure employees stay creative and technologically updated?

We believe in cultivating cross-functional teams, so I try to allocate one additional member to every project team (if the clients and our contract allow us) who has only learnt about that technology and haven’t worked on it. The team members start with allocating small tasks to that employee and strictly review their work to uplift them on fluent working proficiency. Such a strategy increases the working velocity of our teams, maintains the highest quality work on the project, evolves employees’ skills and reduces the volatility that is caused by leaves and unplanned hurdles that keep on coming.

What would be your advice to the emerging entrepreneurs aspiring to make an impact in the tech domain?

I have only three advices to the emerging entrepreneurs who wish to make an impact in tech domain:

• Spend your money wisely: whether it is product development, marketing or sales everything is based on hypothesis so take a small step, test it and if the move works well only then spend money on that idea.
• Focus on taking data driven decisions and abstain yourself from emotional bias.
• Be curious and keep on learning new stuff, you may hit many plateaus in your journey so keep on finding solutions to take another leap.

Where do you envision your organization to be in the long run and what are your future goals?

I envision my organization to grow steadily and have a tech product line in the next 5 years. I believe in consistent growth because those who expand quickly in the IT services business have a very high tendency to crumble down easily. In terms of employees, we have been growing at the rate of 70% annually and the year-on-year revenue growth rate has been at least 110% which shows we will exist in the long haul.

I was struggling while building my product which is a CRM platform on angular js because it was hard to find people who have a working experience on angular js and were technically brilliant.
