On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at the annual meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on the vision of “getting growth back.”
The Prime Minister delivered his inaugural address at the annual session of the CII to mark the 125th anniversary of its inception in 1895. In addition, PM Modi congratulated the institution for improving its operations in time.

The statement came as businesses are resuming their activities after relaxation and a gradual easing of the national shutdown, implemented on 25 March, to avoid coronavirus infections spreading.

Previously on Saturday, the Home Ministry announced that ‘Unlock-1’ would take effect from June 8, with the opening of shopping malls, restaurants, and religious places. However, strict restrictions will remain in place until 30 June in the containment zones.
