The Most Expensive Engagement Rings in the UK Royal Family

The jewelry worn by the royal family of the U.K. is always expensive and exquisite. This is especially true for the tiaras and engagement rings. The family has several flashy, impressive engagement rings that people love to photograph and speculate about.

According to CrissCut, these are the most expensive of the family’s engagement rings, who wears them, and what kinds of stones they feature.

Catherine, Princess of Wales

Kate wears the legendary engagement ring that Princess Diana once wore. The famous ring is a 12-carat sapphire that’s cut in an oval shape and has a grading of AAAA. This magnificent stone is surrounded by 14 solitaire-cut diamonds. The ring is worth about $385,000.

Queen Camilla

The current queen’s engagement ring is a 5-carat diamond with an emerald cut. It’s flanked by three other diamonds. It once belonged to The Queen Mother, and it’s worth about $272,000.

During her life, she had an impressive platinum engagement ring that featured a round-cut solitaire diamond that is 3 carats. The ring also has five smaller diamonds on each side of the large one. It’s worth about $266,000 today.

As the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Furguson, Princess Beatrice of course has an impressive engagement ring. Hers has a 3-carat round-cut diamond that’s flanked by two tapered diamonds. This Art Deco-style ring is worth about $167,000.

Love her or hate her, she has an impressive engagement ring. The ring features a cushion-cut, 3-carat diamond in the center with one .75-carat diamond on each side. The diamonds came from Princess Diana’s jewelry, and it’s worth $154,000.
