In a series of J K Rowling’s Latest Tweet, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has attracted attention of the crypto community. By trolling Bitcoin out of the park. J.K. Rowling summed up her series on 18th May when she pointed out that she had been trolling the Bitcoin community to boost her Ethereum holdings.

The response to J.K Rowling’s Latest Tweet was mostly positive. People applauded her for successfully making a fool out of Bitcoin. However, some ardent fans of Bitcoin were not too amused by this. They left no stone unturned in showing their displeasure. Neblio Tachyon also took this opportunity to promote its new blockchain technology on the same thread, claiming that Rowling was secretly a “Neblio Maximalist”.

J.K. Rowling’s Latest Tweet tryst With The Bitcoin Community

J.K. Rowling had initially tweeted that she did not understand Bitcoins and would love it if someone helped her out with it. Her first unassuming victims were Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong, and Binance Co-founder Changpeng Zhao(CZ). Brian Armstrong welcomed a fake Rowling account into the world of Bitcoins and tried to get it to register with Coinbase.

Although, Coinbase CEO refused to delete his tweets even after multiple users in the community pointed out that it was a fake account. CZ, however, went one step further and managed to creep out miss Rowling herself. He graciously offered to personally teach Rowling how to work with Bitcoins and compared it to teaching a woman how to fish. While Rowling did not pay head to this sexist remark, twitter users forced CZ to take the tweet down.

Even though these industry stalwarts managed to embarrass themselves, the crypto community on twitter managed to remain unfazed. With hundreds of tweets connecting the magical world of Harry Potter to the BTC network, Rowling decided to land her final blow on Monday, 18th May.

Hitting Two Targets With One Stone?

Even though J.K. Rowling’s Latest Tweet clarified that she was merely trolling Bitcoin, it also had one more interesting point mentioned. Through her tweet, Rowling had sparked speculations that she secretly held Ethereum coins. The mention of her Ethereum Holdings started off another wave of replies and retweets from Ethereum community members.

It also resulted in a battle of words between Bitcoin and Ethereum supporters. However, crafty as she is, Rowling pointed out a few hours later, that she was joking about the Ethereum holdings as well. Even though she broke numerous hearts with her tweets, twitter soon saw the funny side of her tweets and applauded her for her ingenuity.
