Monero platform has announced the release of a new Graphical User Interface (GUI) named “Carbon Chameleon” with version code v0.15.04 as per its official twitter handle. The release was conducted on the 5th of this month.

The new version has updated features with User Interface Changes (UI), fixing of the previous bugs and enhanced improvements in the visuals and user experience.

The complete lists of updates and new implementation have been recorded in GitHub. Main updates include various small UI improvements, new sidebar menu design, new blur background effect, the introduction of the Norwegian language, and display of version on macOS, crash fixes, and bug fixes from the previous version.

The links to download for user specification have been distributed accordingly, namely Windows 64 bit installer, Windows 64 bit (Not same as an installer), Linux 64 bit version, and macOS 64 bit version compatible accordingly.

The Monero blog has released step by step instructions to update from the previous version, to check the appropriate install of the new version one is advised to check SHA256 hashes using the given guides on the blog. The hashes to be used for verification should be GPG signed and should be considered as the genuine version against it.
