A Cryptocurrency venture, Bakkt, soon to release its new product hired a former Google consultant to fulfill the purpose of creating a brand out of its product and to gain the knowledge from the consultant to make a new application worthy and reliable for the customers. Any guesses about the name? It’s Chris Peterson. He is the former Google’s UX consultant. He has joined Bakkt to serve the purpose of consultancy to help the firm work better with its new product, a new application, named as Bakkt Pay, as per the information from the person who is known to this project. Bakkt Pay is a mobile application which will act as a wallet to store the digital asset.

In August 2018, Bakkt was developed by the Jeff Sprecher and Kelly Loeffler of the Intercontinental Exchange. Bakkt is all about to help people invest Bitcoin in their 401(k) s. Bakkt has said in the start to launch the product such that they will be physically delivered linked to the Bitcoin but due to some regulations, the launch date got backed by few months.

According to the sources, the firm is still working on its product to launch it in the next few months and at the same time working on how it could be helpful for the future world. Here comes the role of Chris Peterson, who has been in the UX Consultancy for about 20 years, to help Bakkt out to expand its brand as a role for a future provider. Peterson is involved in the roll-out of the app. Talking about the previous works of Chris Peterson, as he has been the Google’s UX consultant; he has consulted the cloud team of Google about the redesign of the firm to help out with all of its product.

The information about the mobile application is also provided on the firm’s website in which it gave a hint about the release of the mobile application in January and posting about the job for its developer for “Bakkt product suite”. Post has also got a comment to which there is no response through the spokesman of ICE. Bakkt, which has previously raised its fund of about $182 million from CMT Digital and Galaxy Digital, seems to be struggling this time to launch its product.

Although most of the information is kept hidden, a blog posts by the COO of the firm, Adam White, reveals the fact that the firm would start testing its product that contains the future of Bitcoin, on 22^nd July 2019. The blog post also talks about the new details of Bakkt, which says that Bakkt’s platform ensures the Bitcoin’s custody for almost $100 million. Whatever may be the fact, people are still in a muddle to make any decision or conclusion about Bakkt and eagerly waiting to see a new, futuristic, Cryptocurrency venture, Bakkt, to become the reality soon.
