In a bizarre (yet not so surprising) turn of events (how cliched) a crypto firm (of all the companies in the world bragging of digital security) accidentally (woops) sent a woman in Australia nearly $10.5 millions in Australian currency. It was supposed to be a $100 refund by Crypto(dot)Com to Thevamanogari Manivel. But Christmas came early for the lady on the blockchains. What is even more crazy is that this blooper of a gaffe went unnoticed for a freakin seven whole months!

So what did Manivel do with all the mullas she accidentally received (with thanks)? She did just what any streetsmart business consultant will tell you. Invest in real estate. Cuz prices will be – a – booming when people’d be space-scooting to the Moon for a lil’ lunatic escapade from the madness down here. Manivel bought a cool $1.35 million house in Melbourne. Manivel later transferred the ownership of the home to her sister in Malaysia Ms Thilagavathy Gangadory! A month prior to her purchase she had transferred $430,000 to her daughter Raveena Vijan. What in the name of Hera-Pheri! Deva re deva Manivel must be from Laxmi Chit Fund!
The glitch of a transaction occurred on May 20th 2021. CryptoDotCom realized the million dollar blunder on 23rd December 2021 during an audit. The company launched a legal action against Manivel. The court has finally ordered Gangodory to sell the property and return $1.35 million to the company besides an interest of $27,000! Crying shame! They could have just returned it on day one.
