OKEx, which recently became the world’s Largest Crypto Exchange firm in terms of trade volume is a child company of ‘OKcoin’. Recently, the parent company has introduced fiat-crypto trading services in Argentina.

The move will enable the customers to already deposit Argentine pesos (ARS) in exchange of significant cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), Ripple (XRP), Cardano (ADA), Stellar (XLM), Zcash (ZEC), and 0x (ZRX) and more.

OKcoin will plan to inaugurate its office in Buenos Aires, shortly. The team there will be developing the crypto friendly atmosphere in the region. The firm also unveils the fact that it is also interested to expand in Latin America market after Argentina. The exchange will add other local fiats to the list “in the coming months.”

Noting the position of OKEx that is based in Hong Kong, has touched $1.6 billion in trades to press time. OKCoin was once among the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in China before the region’s trading ban, and since the crackdown, it has been expanding impressively outside of that locality.

Remarkably, it entered the US with fiat-to-crypto offerings back in July and started its platform in South Korea in January.

Notably, Argentina has witnessed many transformations due to the crypto economy, especially this year. For instance, in May, local bank Banco Masventas began allowing clients to utilize Bitcoin for transactions across the borders. Plus, in June, crypto enthusiasts introduced travelling “Bitcoin-wagon” campaign to promote cryptocurrency awareness in rural Argentina.

On the other hand, Binance, the world’s second largest Crypto Exchange by trade volume recently launched its fiat-crypto trading services in Uganda, enabling customers trade crypto against the Ugandan shilling.
