In a recent video uploaded by Bitcoin.com, its Chief Executive Officer, Roger Ver, spoke about the recent updates and developments happening on the Bitcoin Cash network as well as everything connected to it.

The first topic touched upon by Ver was Bitcoin Cash’s addition to Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winkelvoss twins. The addition comes more than a year after Bitcoin Cash had formed and a few weeks after the recent Bitcoin Cash hard fork. Gemini had announced:

“At this time, we will only be providing support for the Bitcoin ABC network and we will be referring to it as Bitcoin Cash with ticker: BCH. We have added replay protection to all BCH withdrawals from the Gemini platform to ensure transactions are only valid on the Bitcoin ABC blockchain.”

The Bitcoin.com CEO also spoke about how organizations are adding Bitcoin Cash on their platforms, while Bitcoin and Litecoin are being shunned. He even stated that Litecoin is a cryptocurrency that is useless and is one that does not solve any scaling issues.

Ver then spoke about how Ethereum [ETH]’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin had come out in support of Bitcoin Cash and praised him highly. Buterin had dug into the original Bitcoin Core by stating:

“The broader society does not give a crap about censorship in Bitcoin or social media attacks from BS because there are much bigger cases of censorship and social attacks happening in the world that hurts the lives of far more people.”

Vitalik has been an ardent supporter of the ABC implementation of the Bitcoin Cash hard fork, even congratulating Roger Ver and Jihan Wu after amassing the maximum number of blocks. Roger Ver stuck to his tune of supporting Bitcoin Cash, calling it the one commodity that will bring economic freedom to the world.

In other updates, the video revealed the new releases from Purse.io, which was offering a 30 percent discount for customers using Bitcoin Cash for purchases on Amazon.

The discussion by the Bitcoin.com team also covered Coinbase’s latest decision to add 30 more cryptocurrencies to its roster. Ver claimed that the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange had enough of Bitcoin and was moving onto better cryptocurrencies.

He also assured that other cryptocurrency exchanges should not worry about reorg attacks on their platforms after BCH addition because the hard fork is done and dusted. In his words:

“ Everyone should know that there is no threat on the Bitcoin Cash network now. With OKEx relisting Bitcoin Cash with the ticker symbol BCH, people in the crypto space should realize that Bitcoin Cash is one of the few currencies that will bring financial freedom to everyone.”
