In the Spending Bill signed March 23, 2018, by President Trump, new provisions put an end to employers, managers and supervisors keeping employees’ tips and placed hefty penalties on employers who failed to comply. The Department of Labor (DOL) has now released guidance on the enforcement of these rules under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
