Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme – The scheme was launched by Punjab National Bank and is mainly targeted towards small scale sector. Under this scheme, you could get a loan up to Rs 10 lakh. The scheme covers different loans. It provides loans for beauty parlours, day-care centers. In this age of women empowerment, the bank also provides loan for auto-rickshaw under the scheme. One thing which you will have to keep in mind is the fact that the rate of interest will vary from sector to sector.

Bharatiya Mahila Bank – This bank as the name suggests primarily caters to women. The bank encourages women to start their own businesses. The bank offers loans for the retail sector, loan against property, MICRO loans, and SME loans.
