My Experience With The Eve Mattress

Some people need a lot of sleep, some people don't. I'm definately in the category of people who need a GOOD sleep. For the last few years, I've had problems falling asleep and I never knew why. I also suffer from chronic backpain, which I literally go to bed with and get up with. That's why a good night's sleep and a comfortable bed is so important to me. I already had a very decent mattress, but when I got the chance to try the Eve matrress, which is said to be the world's most comfortable mattress, I couldn't refuse!

The first thing I noticed when I got this mattress is that it looks very firm and steady, but definitely not too hard. When I first layed down on it I thought: okay, very soft yet very supportive in the right places. When I rolled and bounced around on it, it felt firm but still like a soft mattress! And the pluche cover almost makes you want to skip the cover sheets, haha. It's the right combination of steady and comfortable for me. I don't want a mattress that's hard as a rock, but especially for my back problems, not a mattress that completely sinks in when you lay on top of it either. This one is soft, comfortable, steady and slightly bouncy.

During my first nights of sleep on it, the weather was crazy hot. But I felt like I kept cool, and therefore it felt super clean. Not like I'd want to wash the sheets first thing in the morning! Afterwards I read that the mattress has got special 'holes' in it to provide airflow and keep you cool, so that definitely seemed to help. I also noticed how I fell asleep quicker because I wasn't tossing and turning as much. After I got back from New York last week, my back and neck hurt a lot again because I couldn't sit or sleep right in the airplane. I was so so jetlagged and my entire body hurt because we walked many kilometres each day. So basically: I felt achy and extremely tired. When I got home I went to sleep and after I woke up, I definitely noticed that the support in the right places did my body good. I had a good sleep and woke up less sore already. That's what I notice the most: I don't wake up with neck or back pain as much, ever since I've been sleeping on my Eve mattress. It proves to me that a bad mattress is often the cause of neck and back pain. Yes, I do have chronic back pain that reoccurs after I get up, but during my night sleep? I feel super comfortable and supported where my body needs it the most.

I hope this review was helpful to some of you! It's definitely worth to consider whether your mattress is good for your body and your night rest. Perhaps the Eve mattress is what you need, too!
