The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) have decided to raise awareness and support Planned Parenthood in the United States. They really hope to raise that sort of awareness of President Trump’s order which will defund the organisation. There is no doubt that New York Fashion Week gets a lot of attention, not just in the United States but worldwide, so this attempt will hopefully not fail. The CFDA are going to be distributing hot pink pins that have “Fashion Stands With Planned Parenthood” written on them. There is no doubt that we already know what the most popular accessory will be during fashion week. We can expect to see them on many celebrities, models, designers, people on the front row and on the streets. The pins will be trending on social media using the hashtag #IStandWithPP.

Planned Parenthood Pink Pins Are Going To Take Over NYFW 

All the pins that will be distributed will also have a card attached to it which explains how people can get involved and facts sharing the importance of Planned Parenthood. Many labels have already signed to take part in this initiative such as: DVF, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Zac Posen and Narciso Rodriquez. Each of them have pledged to either wear the pins as they take their bow at the end of their show or distribute them to models and show attendees. Pins are a great way to get someones attention and we are pretty sure this pink pin is going to be spotted in almost all of NYFW’s pictures! We can’t wait to check out some of the amazing street style looks, because that’s really where it all happens sometimes!
