It’s all about mix and match! Fashion stylists from all over the world have made this the mantra of being in vogue. Find your own Style. Choose your accessories, add layers, pick out your own niche. And of course it does not have to be completely by the book.

Well, all that is fine, but this particular innovation would truly delight those who Love footwear. Shooz Ltd have created a range of customisable modular shoes. The patented footwear will enable the user to change their shoes depending on mood, style, functionality with a simple zipper (which they claim to be waterproof).

They have a campaign on Kickstarter through which they are raising funds to go for Mass production og their design. Interestingly they also faced a challenge that is proving to be a hurdle for many innovators across the industry. Apparently a Chinese Company had stolen their patented design and had started to sell identical products online.

Edoardo, the founder of Shooz wrote in one of the updates on Kickstarter “I made a deal with this Chinese company which seamed to have discovered the secret for mass producing our shoe with excellent quality standard: stop selling the Shooz fakes  and become our supplier in exchange of no legal action taken against them.”

Now that’s smart.

All I can say is, I can’t wait for them to sell in India. Although I am pretty sure they will be s**t expensive. But one can sure hope.
