After months of dilly dallying, I finally subscribed to Fab Bag a couple of months ago. For those of you who haven’t caught up to this trend yet, Fab Bag is basically a curated make up and beauty bag which comes with various products from different brands. Generally a bag contains a mix of hair care, skin care and make up products.
Initially a skeptic, now I actually wait for what’s going to arrive in the bag every month. Needless to say, it has been a rather satisfying journey so far, and the deal is great because you end up paying much lesser than the Actual costs of the products.
What was in the bag in November?
- The bag itself is holographic. Honestly, I have got better bags before from the company, maybe because personally I am not very fond of the trend. But my kid sister would love it. So no big loss there.
- A really creamy Bella Voste Ulti-Matte Chubby Stick, which is a lipper that I absolutely loved from the word go. I wear it to office and I think the colour and the pigmentation is fantastic. Actual cost Rs 499. Review coming soon.
- Sticky but effective. The Nature’s Co Jasmine Sugar Body Scrub. Actual cost Rs 425 for 50g. Review coming soon.
- Aroma Treasures Lavender Face Wash. The mild smell is actually refreshing. Actual cost Rs 64 for 30ml. Review coming soon.
- Kronokare Bash the Gloss Moisturizing Face Cream. Not great for me for winters, but it might just be perfect for the slightly warmer months. Actual cost Rs 292 for 15g. Review coming soon.
- Kronokare Aroma Therapy City Detox Facewash. Pretty sure by now everyone is aware of the smog and pollution in Delhi – so this is an inclusion that was very timely.
- Fadlor Naturalich Exotic Herbal Infusion Shampoo. Actual cost Rs 100 for 30ml. Review coming soon.
Verdict
Fab bag subscription is an absolute value for money. Especially their lip colour offer always excites me. The bag itself definitely left me disappointed. The contents however totally make up for it. Bella Voste is definitely a product I would try. Aroma Treasures is another brand I really love.
And now the wait begins for the next month’s haul.
