It’s with great excitement that the Spida Sports team would like to introduce it’s newest ambassador, Mitchell “The Moosta’ Clegg. Spida Sports is now his newest clothing sponsor. We have been working hard to create some stunning Dart shirts for The Moosta and all will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Mitchell comes from a family of Dart Players. As a result of this, he first threw a dart at age 6, then first played competitive Darts at just age 10. He represented his state (NSW) at 11 years of age and was a regular in the junior system. Now at the age of just 24, Mitchell’s dart career has taken him all over the world, with the furthest being the dart crazy nation ‘England’.
He is amongst the best dart players in Australia, that’s why this October he will be on a plane to Turkey for the Darts World cup as part of the Australian Team!
It’s not been all smooth sailing though, Mitchell told Spida Sports that at his last Australian Championships Mixed double match in Perth, he threw a perfect score of 180, but all the darts managed to fall before being counted, resulting in a big fat zero.
We are super excited about growing with Mitchell and wish him all the best at future tournaments.
