Today on the blog we are featuring a brand that we carry called Modaspia. Modaspia is a clothing line that is known for its simple elegance, and quiality garments. The line is designed by Ursula Dean, in the beautiful Sierra Foothills of Calfornia. Ursula does most of her patternmaking and design work at a studio that she shares with her husband in a masonic temple downtown. Ursula designs pieces with quality in mind, she is inspired by the fabrics that she uses like linen, silk, and cotton. She also has been working with the same seamstresses for almost a decade, and strives to make the utmost quality garments by implementing techniques like french seams.

Modaspia creates two unique collections a year. Their Spring 2017 collection boasts dresses and tunics made from gingham linen and calico cottons, mainly sourced from Japan.
