Australia’s CSIRO Health Science and Nutrition Department has done analysis on the grain and found that the younger harvesting period produces a grain with higher Fibre Content. As wheats mature, their fibre, mineral and protein content decreases, rendering them less valuable as compared to Freekeh. If you think brown rice was healthy, get ready to be blown off your seat. Freekeh has about 3 times the amount of fibre as brown rice and almost twice that of quinoa!

Because it takes longer to digest, hunger won’t creep up on yuo as often, making it easier to regulate how often your meals occur.
