DIY: Indoor S’mores

Enjoying s’mores without the campfire

We all like to venture outside into nature for some much needed relaxation in the summer, but making plans and getting enough people to commit can be tough. If you’re still yearning for that camp/cottage experience but aren’t able to go to one this summer, try making this snack indoors to relive those Campfire moments.

The first thing to do is to line a frying pan with Chocolate of your choice. Here we’ve gone ahead and chosen to use bitter sweet chocolate to counteract the sweetness of the marshmallows.

The next thing to do is to cut the marshmallows in half so that the Layer of them isn’t too thick. If you’d prefer to layer them straight on that can be an option too.

Cover all of the chocolate with a layer of the half cut marshmallows. If there are little spaces where the chocolate isn’t covered don’t stress. When the marshmallows melt in the Oven, they inflate and expand. Eventually all of the chocolate will be covered.

Set your oven to 450F and clean up your scissors. Make sure to grab a bowl and pour out some Graham Crackers. While your oven is preheating you can also set up your table – we know you want it to look nice. When your oven is ready to go, pop the pan into it and let it sit there for about 5-8 minutes. Once the marshmallows are an even golden brown, take the pan out and you’re ready to serve.

Remember how we said not to stress about the marshmallows properly covering the chocolate? Here’s the proof!

Now go to town on that pan with your graham crackers and enjoy the most delicious campfire snack inside the comfort of your own home!
