Perfect - and just what I was looking for!!! I've been through so many tripods and they would randomly break or weren't heavy enough and it would fall over with a second of wind. When I got this, I was in shock how sturdy this Tripod is. It's very lightweight, but sturdy with a detachable stable base and you can use it as a tripod. I'm glad this is super tall, I'm 5"9 and this is perfect for photos so I'm not trying to figure out if I'll be in it or not. You have to twist it to lock it down instead of clamping each section. I have my iPhone 8 plus and my GoPro as my go-to cameras for my travel and this is perfect for both and it comes with the GoPro attachment which is nice. It's a great tripod in snow and on the beach when you go when it's windy.
