If you’re the parent of school-aged kids, chances are your defenses are up against bullying. No mother or Father wants their child subjected to harmful or hurtful behavior, particularly when it makes them question their own self-worth or brings about feelings of anxiety in public places like school.

However, for most parents, an attempt is first made for peaceful intervention between a child and their bully. The same cannot be said for an Australian father who went on the physical attack after a young man harassed his daughter.

According to the Daily Mail, 53-year-old Mark Bladden was pushed over the edge to attack his 15-year-old stepdaughter’s bully when he approached the boy at a local skate park and the boy appeared smug.

The attack was caught on camera and has gone viral.

The father put a choke-hold on the bully.

It has been reported that Bladden initially set out to a skate park in Brisbane, Australia to have a chat with the boy, or in his words, “a good old-fashioned talking to,” when things turned ugly. He says the teen simply smiled at him in retort, and that sent him into a rage.
