John Cena Made Nikki Bella Sign A 75-Page Contract Before Moving In

I know people were initially shocked when John Cena and Nikki Bella called it quits, but maybe we had a bit of a warning? The first couple of wrestling was schedule to get married in a matter of weeks. But, just a couple of days after their last public appearance as a couple, they announced their breakup.

Cena and Bella were together for six years, and got engaged during last year’s Wrestlemania 33. It was a very sweet moment: Cena proposed to Nikki in the middle of the ring that built their careers.

With their wedding scheduled for May 5, a split was the last thing people expected to happen. But there seemed to be warning signs, from the very beginning of their relationship. Cena once told Oprah that he didn’t ever want to get married again or have kids. And sources are saying that as the wedding drew closer, Cena was getting cold feet. But even going back to 2013, there were red flags. Before Bella moved in with Cena, he made her sign a 75-page contract. That seems a little … excessive. He called it “protection”, but looking back, it looks like he wanted to have an easy way out.
