It is so hard at times to keep our kids safe. It feels impossible and so much of it out of our control. It can leave us feeling way more stressed than we ever recall our parents experiencing. With so much out of our control, often we want to do everything in our power to feel that safety for ourselves and especially our kids and a pregnant mo can feel that stuff even harder.

Sometimes that means we avoid going places we feel might be unsafe. And other times that means arming ourselves with things that may make us feel safer. Sometimes, that backfires unfortunately and that’s what happened for one Pregnant Mom. Her family was changed forever after an incident that was a complete accident, but people are speculating there was a lot more that could have been done to prevent this.

There is so much in the saying that hindsight is 20/20. You know what you know at the moment and if you could go back, you would. But, that’s not how life works. And it’s so easy for people to point fingers and we can all play that what-if game.

News sources are reporting that a pregnant mom is in critical condition after her 3-year-old daughter got a hold of a gun and shot her in the back.
