This time of year is the worst. I can’t even tell you how many days my kids have been home sick. It’s been draining and scary at times. The flu season is no joke this year and all the warnings we have been hearing about how it’s bad and still going on is no lie. It seems like there is more than one flu strain going around, too. Some hit your stomach. Others make your throat feel like its on fire. Another comes with a super high fever and makes you wonder when you will ever see energy again. Even celebrities are not immune to the flu. Pink had to sing while recovering from the flu at the Super Bowl this weekend. And Jessica Simpson’s kids are sick, too.

I love Jessica Simpson. She’s one of my favorites because she never seems to take herself too seriously and appears to be pretty genuine. I obviously don’t know her personally, but she really does seem like she would be a lot of fun to hang out with.

She is also a mom of two kids. Jessica has two children, 4-year-old Maxwell Drew and 2-year-old Ace Knute. It doesn’t seem to matter what she posts online about these kids of hers, people will throw hate.

And that’s kind of what happened when she shared that her babes are sick with the flu.
