It seems like there’s never a shortage of drama surrounding the stars of Teen Mom OG. Catelynn Lowell allegedly suffered a miscarriage before entering rehab back in November for help with her mental health issues. And Farrah Abraham seems to always be stirring the pot in some way. So it’s refreshing to see an update from one of the show’s stars that isn’t all doom and gloom! Maci Bookout has certainly dealt with her fair share of drama since joining the cast of the original Teen Mom. But a recent post on Instagram shows that even in the midst of all the stuff going on with her ex and his drinking and drug abuse, her son Bentley is doing well.

Maci shared the sweet post about Bentley to update fans about how he was doing. People worry that the drama with Ryan Edwards, Bentley’s father, may be having a negative effect on the 9-year-old. But according to Maci, he’s doing really well, and adjusting to all the changes going on. It can’t be easy for the young kiddo, but it helps that he has Maci and stepdad Taylor McKinney in his corner, supporting him and cheering him on.
