Have you ever watched a TV show and heard a character rattle out a telephone Number and thought that there is some annoying fan out there who is going to ring that number just for kicks? No? Maybe it’s just me, but it’s the sort of thing that crosses my mind from time to time.
Or maybe the front of a real house, with the door number and street name is included in a movie or TV show that becomes the focal point for fans. You or your friends might not do that but you know that someone, somewhere is going to make the effort to track that location down and visit, knock and/or take photos.
It’s because of that, that reality TV or news shows are very careful when they film cars, for example. If they do capture the license plate they’re careful to blur out the letters and numbers, because an obsessed person can track the owner of the vehicle using those details.
You’d think if you’re the producer of one of those shows it’s a fairly obvious step to take. But a keen-eyed viewer of a recent episode of Teen Mom 2 spotted that this hadn’t been done in one scene and she flagged it up.
